 Chicago, Sept. 11, 2009 - Schofield Media Group has promoted Brian Reshefsky to group president. Based in Chicago, he will lead Schofield's U.S. and European operations consisting of five divisions and more than 40 magazines.
Reshefsky joined Schofield in 2006 as executive president, and in 2008 was made group COO, a role he will retain as group president. "Brian has made and continues to make a great contribution to the company," said Andrew Schofield, founder, chairman and CEO. "I am excited about continuing our growth with our existing Web sites, magazines and other products," Reshefsky said. "But, most of all, I look forward to adopting new technologies to better serve our readers and advertisers." Prior to joining Schofield, Reshefsky worked for Veronis Suhler Stevenson in New York, where he was involved in major media investments. Prior to working for Veronis Suhler Stevenson, he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston as an investment banker focused on Media and Telecommunications.
