11th July, 2005 — Norwich publisher Schofield Publishing, sister company to the Chicago-based Schofield Media Group, is adding to its European stable of magazines with the launch of European Supply Chain Management (ESCM). This brings the number of titles published by Schofield up to seven, with ESCM added to its already successful Norwich-based Venture, Food Chain, Manufacturing Today Europe, and Construction Today Europe, and the Essex-based Railway Strategies and Modern Utility Management. In total the company now publishes 14 titles, seven of which are US-based (US Business Review, Manufacturing Today, Construction Today, Food and Drink, HPC World, Furniture and Interiors and OG&M.) The launch issue of ESCM is due out in September 05. The new magazine, European Supply Chain Management, will be edited by Lee Jones, who started at Schofield Publishing in 2002 as a staff writer and has been promoted through a variety of positions during his time at the company. "I'm delighted to be involved in a new magazine, and believe that we can reach a new audience with ESCM," he said. "Schofield Publishing is keen to promote staff internally wherever possible, and I have benefited from this policy first-hand."
